Calorie Overload Makes Your Brain Go Haywire

Overeating can make your brain go haywire, prompting a cascade of damage that may cause diabetes, heart disease and other ills.

Eating too much activates a normally dormant immune system pathway in your brain, which sends out immune cells to attack and destroy invaders that are not there. This finding could help explain why obesity causes so many different diseases.

Studies that have shown that obesity causes chronic inflammation throughout the body. This inflammation is found in a range of diseases related to obesity, including heart disease and diabetes.

Depending on exactly what theory you subscribe to regarding obesity, it is not only a cause of inflammation around the body, it is indeed the inflammation itself.

Fat cells take up more space than any other type of cell, and are naturally prone to a larger look just due to it being fat. Those who declare that obesity (along with other conditions) are caused primarily by fungusthroughout the body make the point that fungus causes such inflammation and to ignore it is missing a strong contender for the primary culprit.
