I live in Ohio, and I intend to vote for Ron Paul next week.  He is not getting any mainstream media coverage at all.  I am sure that  many  people think he is already out of the race.

I live in Ohio as well.  I did hear Ron Paul ads on the radio several months ago, but nothing recently.  In my area, there is a large group of Ron Paul supporters, I am anxiously awaiting the results of our primary in March.  Though I realize Ron Paul won't receive the Republican nomination, I strongly feel Ron Paul stands for what a majority of Americans believe in.

I don't live in the US - so I'm just an observer....

It appears to me that the US is deep down the {corporate |  military} fascist path. (I had to relook up 'fascism' to make sure I've got the right definition!)

It appears that most politicians are morally corrupt - and have sold their souls to the corporate machine, or "the establishment". The US "Homeland Security Act" is such a hideously clever "trojan horse" that will change the US forever....It is such a shame to see such a great nation go the way it has been going.

Your founding fathers knew that politicians are subject to corruption, that's why you have a constitution....but it is becoming more and more watered down to the extent that it will be worthless....(and yes - it's not different in other countries either!)

Ron Paul is different and is right....and that's why he has absolutely no chance whatsoever of being accepted by the establishment...and if he was voted for by the people, my fear is that he would meet a similar fate to Kennedy & King...

>> it's not quite like that, it's more a issue of faulty and
overcomplicated >>bureaucracies than evil corrupt people. it's not like the
movies

Yes, bureaucracies are a scourge to
efficiency. I suppose you mean ones like the FDA? Maybe non-government organizations
such as the Federal Reserve? What about “non-partisan” organizations such as
the Council on Foreign Relations? Do you think that maybe these have a bit of
influence on your politicians? I define moral corruption as someone who doesn’t
have the guts to stand up to what they know is right. Does the FDA and the drug
companies do what is right for the American people?

Does anyone have any idea how many
registered lobbyists there are in
Washington? Hint:
It’s way over 30,000. It’s a big business ‘influence peddling’. So if you trust
all your politicians to do what is ‘right’ always, you maybe are in for a
shock!
