Yes, bureaucracies are a scourge to efficiency. I suppose you mean ones like the FDA? Maybe non-government organizations such as the Federal Reserve? What about “non-partisan” organizations such as the Council on Foreign Relations? Do you think that maybe these have a bit of influence on your politicians? I define moral corruption as someone who doesn’t have the guts to stand up to what they know is right. Does the FDA and the drug companies do what is right for the American people?
Does anyone have any idea how many registered lobbyists there are in Washington? Hint: It’s way over 30,000. It’s a big business ‘influence peddling’. So if you trust all your politicians to do what is ‘right’ always, you maybe are in for a shock!
