Monsanto Workers Ban GMO Foods from Their Own Cafeteria

The fight to ban genetically modified foods has won more converts -- some employees of Monsanto, the company that is doing the most to promote GM products.

The Independent newspaper reports that there is a notice in the cafeteria of the Monsanto pharmaceutical factory is High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire, advising customers that “as far as practicable, GM soya and maize (has been removed) from all food products served in our restaurant. We have taken the steps to ensure that you, the customer, can feel confident in the food we serve.”

OK this is good! This is very, very good! And Monsanto admits this takes place! This is something the right campaign promotion could really take the ball and run with! Do you see the possibilities here?

However I question why in the world these employees still work for this evil company! God will make sure they get another job if they walk out in good faith! He is like that!

Wow! (a light bulb just went on!)You are 100% right Russ! As a matter of fact I don’t think it would be that hard to get labeling laws in place that state if the product is (or is not) backed and consumed by the whole processing establishment! Hmmmmm… Could this be the rope they will finally hang themselves with?

Like I have previous strongly suggested, whether in the case of GMO, or drugs, or other potentially harmful ingredients, novel food, etc., the Executive Team, the Board of Directors, their families, lawyers and FDA regulators, should be required to take the stuff years before it's allowed to be even considered for application for approval or use by anyone else.
