Nudibranch

Nudibranchs are shell-less relatives of the snail, and are known for their bright colors. These tiny sea creatures are found worldwide, in any depth of salt water from the deepest ocean floors to warm shallow water.

Nudibranchs are blind, and rely on smell, taste and feel to navigate their surroundings to find coral, sponges, eggs, small fish, and other nudibranchs to eat.

BeeGirl...yes, some of us do wear these colors, especially in the summer months!
If we look to the beauty of nature, we can't go wrong, n'est pas?
I think it is the color combinations that are so stunning...

It is so joyful to be active and colorful in the summer when you have to wear bundles of clothing and a parka 8 months of the year!  Mind you, I have seen some pretty amazing parka's!  Hand made by a local fashion designer, and they are functional as well as intricately designed with aboriginal motifs. Major $$ though. About $500-900 for a fashion parka...can you imagine???

Anyway, I firmly believe that the color's you wear will effect your sense of well being and in turn, you will emanate joyfulness and improve your health. Color therapy is very popular in some circles!

Thanks for your encouragement.
Blessings to all.

Sweet M - love the new name, and your joie de vivre. I didn't realize Samsara meant something too, until I looked up Moksha.
Do they wear bright colors in Canada? I grew up in southern California, but in the pacific northwest where everyone seems to wear muted earth tones, I received many ambiguous comments on the colorfulness of my clothes, and I'm only talking turquoise blue or red tops, nothing pink or florescent. I thought it had to do with the climate.

BeeGirl (lol)...

Tupelo?  okeey doekeey...lol  It's just that when I last looked at my world map that is on the wall behind me...Tupelo wasn't in the pacific northwest....oh, wait a tic, just re read your post....you GREW UP in the pacific northwest, but obviously are not there now...! Oh silly me.

What was this thread about again?????  Oh yea, Let me tell you a story about color....

Several years ago I was pruning the hedge in the front of my yard, when I came across a hive in the middle. Having disturbed it, the little darlings came after me, and I made it in the house with only a few stings. I called a friend with an apiary and asked him to come and take care of it for me...my young child at the time asked me what he would be doing....to which I replied, 'well a man will be coming in a bee suit and he will remove the hive". The next day, the truck pulled up, and out stepped my friend in full gear..... My young child looked at me completely puzzled and said...."mom!  how come he  doesn't have stripes???!!!"
